Coating ratio 16.8-28.2% by model. Tensile measured per 50mm for high-silica (others per 25mm). All models A2 fire-rated. Test standards: JC/T 170-2012 & GB/T 7689.5-2013.

Selection Guide

  • 3732-500Standard single-sided grade, best value. Covers most insulation cover and fire curtain applications.
  • 3732-580Double-sided coating, stronger waterproofing for outdoor equipment covers.
  • 3784-1160Heaviest grade, 840 g/m² base. Large expansion joints and heavy-duty removable insulation covers.
  • 1550-530High-silica base for higher temperature resistance beyond standard E-glass limits.

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers about our silicone coated fabric — temperature range, certifications, food-grade options, and ordering.

Yes — they refer to the same product. Different industries and regions use different terms: 'fabric' is more common in North America, while 'cloth' and 'glass cloth' are widely used in Europe and Asia. Silicone impregnated fiberglass and fiberglass silicone fabric are also names for the same material category. All variants are manufactured on the same production line to the same quality standards.
Single-sided: one side coated with silicone rubber, the other side is bare fiberglass fabric — ideal for applications where only one surface contacts chemicals, heat, or abrasion. Double-sided: both sides coated — used where both faces need chemical resistance or where the fabric is suspended between two environments. We produce both; specify when inquiring.
Our standard silicone compound is industrial-grade (UL, RoHS, CE certified). For food-contact applications, we can source FDA-compliant silicone — please specify this requirement upfront so we quote the correct grade. MOQ applies for non-standard compounds.
Silicone coated fabric is excellent for dynamic applications. The silicone coating remains flexible from -50°C to +260°C without cracking, even after thousands of thermal cycles. We can provide flex-cycle test data for your specific thickness and operating temperature on request.
Our silicone coated fabric is UL recognized, RoHS and CE compliant, and achieves A2 fire class (limited combustibility per EN 13501-1). It does not melt, drip, or produce flaming droplets when exposed to fire. Full certification documentation is provided with each shipment.
Silicone coated fabric offers better flexibility at low temperatures and superior tear resistance. Both handle up to 260°C continuously. PTFE has better chemical resistance to solvents and acids. For most insulation, weatherproofing, and fire protection applications, silicone is more cost-effective. We do not produce PTFE fabric — if PTFE is required, we can recommend the right product for your needs.
Regular-weight silicone coated fiberglass fabric (plain weave, coated or laminated, width > 30 cm) is classified under HS 7019.64.90.90. Heavy silicone-impregnated fabric of 450 g/m² or above falls under HS 7019.90.29.90. We state the applicable code on each commercial invoice based on the actual construction.
