Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers about our fiberglass fabric — weave patterns, custom slitting, certifications, and ordering.

We produce plain, twill, and satin weaves. Plain weave: tightest structure, best dimensional stability, most common for general use and coating base. Twill: higher drape and conformability, preferred for curved surfaces. Satin: highest drape, used in advanced composites. We can recommend based on your lamination process and part geometry.
Yes. We can apply silane-based, chrome-based, or other coupling agent finishes to optimize bonding with your resin system (polyester, epoxy, phenolic, etc.). Please specify your resin type when inquiring so we match the correct sizing.
We maintain strict process control with tolerance of ±5% on fabric weight and ±0.05mm on thickness. Our in-house lab tests every production batch and provides a Certificate of Analysis (COA) with each shipment. Full traceability from yarn lot to finished roll.
Yes. Our E-glass fiberglass fabric is REACH and RoHS compliant. We provide compliance certificates with each order and can support your substance declaration requirements for regulatory filings.
Yes. We offer precision slitting from 100mm to 2000mm with ultrasonically sealed or heat-fused edges to prevent fraying during handling and processing. Specify your width tolerance when ordering — tighter tolerances available for volume orders.
Uncoated woven E-glass fabric (plain, twill, or satin) is classified under HS 7019.69.90.90 as other woven glass fiber fabrics. Coated or laminated constructions (e.g. silicone or foil faced) fall under HS 7019.64.90.90. We state the HS code on the commercial invoice — your customs broker can confirm the destination-specific subheading for your shipment.
