This is an adhesive-free woven tape — it has no pressure-sensitive adhesive and is secured by wrapping, tying, or clamping. It is the traditional choice for thermal and electrical insulation where adhesive residue or outgassing must be avoided. Our Industrial Fiberglass Tape (adhesive-backed) is for bonding and sealing applications. Both share the same high-temp E-glass base.
Continuous use up to 550°C, with short-term exposure to higher temperatures for flame or molten splash protection. The exact rating depends on the weave and weight selected — tell us your application temperature.
Yes. Alkali-free E-glass is an excellent dielectric with high dielectric strength, making the tape suitable for transformer coil wrapping, motor slot insulation, and cable bundling. The exact dielectric value depends on thickness and construction — for your voltage class, send us the application and we will recommend the right specification.
The tape is applied by spiral wrapping around the pipe or cable, overlapping each turn. It is held in place by the tension of the wrap, and can be finished with a wire tie, hose clamp, or a final turn of adhesive tape. For permanent installations, many customers use a thin layer of our silicone adhesive tape over the ends. We can advise the best method for your application.
Our E-glass tape is manufactured with a clean cut and low-lint finish, but like all woven glass products it can release a small amount of fiber dust when cut. We recommend wearing gloves and a dust mask during cutting and installation. The tape itself is non-toxic and non-combustible, with an oxygen index ≥ 55.
Both are woven E-glass, but a tape is a narrow-width strip (6–150mm) designed for wrapping and insulation applications, while fabric is wide sheeting for larger surface areas, blankets, and curtains. If you need to cover a large flat area, fabric is more economical; for pipes, cables, and coil wrapping, tape is the right choice.
Yes. Width from 6mm to 150mm, roll length from 10m to 100m, and paper core diameters 14/58/76/83mm. Core size and roll length are fully customizable to fit your production line. Tell us your machine's core requirement and we will match it.
Standard MOQ is 1,000 rolls. Rolls are wound on paper cores (14/58/76/83mm bore), with outer diameters 80/350/500mm. Each roll is individually wrapped, cartons labeled, and palletized for container shipment. Custom packaging and private-label branding are available.
ET series uses alkali-free E-glass — higher electrical insulation, better mechanical strength, and the standard choice for electrical and high-temperature applications. CT series uses medium-alkali C-glass — a more economical option for general thermal insulation where electrical properties are less critical. The FG13 model is our flagship E-glass specification.
